Outreach: Keeping participants engaged leading up to the event through emails and meetings, and working as volunteers at the event in areas as needed.
Design and Media: Assisting on any design aspects of the marathon; graphics, website, t-shirts etc, as well as working on our media presence and controlling our social media accounts.
Morale: Preparing for the morale dance that is performed at the dance marathon, as well as being the "spirit" for the event.
Entertainment: Working with the entertainment directors and helping them plan the event in areas as needed; ranging from performances to food donations.
Recruitment: Getting people registered for the event! This committee is important in its role of attending the meetings of different organizations on campus and spreading information about Charleston Miracle through tabling.
Fundraising: Having different events leading up to the main 13 hour dance marathon, these can include percent nights and special events. Fundraising is responsible for keeping the student body engaged throughout the course of the school year.
Sponsorship: Working to getting raffle items for the silent auction at the event as well as getting any monetary sponsorship. Sponsorship has an important role in reaching out to the greater Charleston community by including local businesses in our fundraising movement.
